Zenith's MBT Automation System Provides Unequalled Transfer Reliability

Zenith's MBT Automation System is undergoing an industry revival due to the design's improved capabilities, and transfer reliability.

Most automation systems sold by competitive ultrasonic cleaner manufacturers are "Pick & Place" robotic systems that use optical encoders and motors to lift baskets from processing tanks.  Unfortunately, some competitive designs are not accurately and consistently transferring baskets.  In some cases, parts are actually dropped onto the floor, thereby "crashing" the system, and causing parts damage.   This problem is so common that some manufacturers actually install "crash sensors" in an attempt to prevent the problem.

Zenith's MBT Automation System does not transfer baskets by lifting, but rather by pushing baskets to the next station along a guided path.  This eliminates the possibility of parts being dropped onto the floor regardless of system error.  Not only is this system more reliable, each liquid-bearing tank includes an independent Oscillation Platform which intermittently or continuously oscillates the baskets of parts during any process, capabilities that are not possible when using a pick & place robot.  Tank covers are also included, and automatically close when the batch of parts is lowered into the tank, thereby reducing evaporation losses.

The MBT system is controlled with a touch-screen interface panel which includes recipe programming, and Ultrasonic Frequency Selection when cleaning sensitive parts, such as polished aluminum.

Zenith Develops New 40kHz Ultrasonic Generator

Zenith's new ultrasonic system operating at 40kHz produces the most evenly distributed 40kHz ultrasonic cleaning activity of any available ultrasonic generator.  In fact, the energy distribution approaches that of 80kHz ultrasonics, but is substantially more powerful.  The new design, called "40+", provides customers with powerful 40kHz scrubbing action without sacrificing energy distribution which can cause inconsistent cleaning results in fine detailed areas.
