Ultrasonic Cleaners for Automotive and Aviation Parts

Zenith's line of ultrasonic cleaning equipment designed specifically for automotive and aviation components includes the ACS-30 and the ACS-70.  Both of these systems include the ultrasonic power and features required to quickly and efficiently clean parts which are being re-manufactured or serviced.ACS-30 Ultrasonic Cleaning System   These systems are built for the heavy-duty environments commonly found in

  • Auto and Aviation Engine Rebuilding Shops
  • Transmission rebuilding
  • New Component Machining Operations
  • Equipment and Engine Maintenance
  • High-performance Engine Cleaning

Zenith's ACS Series has been designed to remove burned carbons, oils, greases, and other typical contaminants found in the auto and aviation re-building industry.  Parts which are commonly cleaned in these systems include cylinder heads, pistons, assembly bolts and hardware, carburetors, automatic and manual transmission components, suspension components, and many others.  NO SOLVENTS are used in the process.  T

Several standard equipment features are included to enhance the system's performance.  Filtration Systems are included to remove the particulate contaminants which collect at the tank bottom.  Oil Skimming Systems continuously remove floating oils, thereby preventing it from re-depositing onto parts when they are removed from the cleaning tank.  And, digital Ultrasonic Timers automatically control the duration of the ultrasonic cleaning cycle.

Since both aviation and automotive components may be manufactured of aluminum, Zenith's patented CROSSFIRE Multiple Frequency Ultrasonics are included to reduce potential damage of parts by Cavitational Erosion.  Oscillation Systems are also available, and recommended, to further reduce damage potential while simultaneously drastically improving the cleaning action inside of blind holes, cavities, and other detailed areas of parts being cleaned.

Parts are placed into the ultrasonic cleaning tank using a stainless steel basket or other holding fixture.  Once submerged, the START button is pressed, and the cover is closed.  Operators can then return when the parts are clean.  The system will automatically activate the ultrasonic cleaning system, and will automatically turn off upon completion of the cycle.  If optional Oscillation Systems are included, the system will intermittently or continuously oscillate the produACS-30 Overflow Weirct during the cleaning cycle to enhance contaminant removal, and to flush loosened contaminants from entrapment areas.  Additional information regarding the benefits of oscillation can be found in the Technical Information Section, under Part Oscillation.

Although the standard automotive and aviation cleaning systems include only the ultrasonic cleaning tank, rinsing and drying tanks are also commonly added to these systems, thereby producing a Clean/Rinse/Dry system capable of meeting your parts volume, and quality.
